The Mid West’s Pivotal Role in the Transition to Renewables

The annual Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Economic Summit took place on Wednesday 5 June 2024. A significant focus of the day was the potential of renewable energy investment to transform the region and positively contribute to global decarbonisation.

The theme of the summit was “investing today for tomorrow”.

A significant focus of the day was the potential of renewable energy investment to transform the region and positively contribute to global decarbonisation.

The Mid West has been identified by both government and industry as a region with great potential for contributing to, and benefitting from, the energy transition.
